The Lord has promised us His peace.
“Wrap me up in your love, Lord. Tie me with color. Cover me with wreaths and garlands of your joy-songs. May I rest sweet Jesus in your peace.”

I can sing a new song to Jesus. On a rainy, gray day, how sweet is the song of His name!
“Kneeling before you, dear Lord, I am renewed. You hear my heart’s whisper and I rejoice! I trust in you. Your servant stands cleansed and blessed -refreshed to thank you, Lord, and praise your precious name.”
WALK WITH ME, LORD
Jesus calls me, “Friend.”
“As I stand forgiven, in your sight; my heart, white as snow, fill me with your holy presence. Where I stand, now, before you, is holy ground, a sanctuary. Thank you, Father, that the blood of Jesus has blotted out my sins from your sight, as far as the East is from the West. Live in me, dear Father, and bless my walk with you.”
CHRIST’S GIFT to ME
The Holy Spirit’s infilling, in me, Christ’s gift, The Comforter, makes all the difference in my life!

Listen to the Quiet… a poem August 2, 2022
The night sky’s splendor runs to greet me! I wait, watching from my lanai and feel blessed. When I awaken, the lazy morning sun enfolds me. Still in its warmth, the grass grows and I listen in. Peace rules my reach of this world.
A cardinal struts nearby, chirps a song written for me.
Rain droplets trickle down my cheeks…and life is what I touch and hear and see and feel, right now -in this glorious, quiet moment.
“Thank you, dear Lord that you are near. When I whisper your name, you hear me. When I close my eyes in prayer and can’t speak a word, you know what I’m needing.”
A cool breeze and sunshine, bright, rest upon me.
“You, Lord, are everywhere.” c.c.
